Lake Suwa in Shinano Province Japanese Woodblock Print Ukiyo-e by Hokusai A4 Photo Print on a Mount

This print is one of Hokusai’s most successful series, “Thirty-six Views of Mt. Fuji” and called Aizuri-e which means printed only in shades of blue. The area around the lake Suwa has been known for having the cleanest air and Hokusai depicted even this "cleanest air" in this print. The bold perspective of this print gave the influence to the works of impressionists such as Monet.
